Melissa Suzanne George is an actress businesswoman inventor and model originally from Australia. She's enjoyed a prosperous career since arriving in the Australian market. George, a native of Perth from Western Australia initially was interested in dancing as well as artistic roller skating. When she was a teenager, George began modeling and won Western Australia's top model for teens of the year award in 1992. She debuted on television in a Seven Network episode of the soap-opera Home and Away. Her debut appearance on the big screen in Dark City's mystery thriller she appeared in various supporting characters for Alias The Limey, Down with Love and other projects prior to her first appearance as a lead female character in the mainstream of Hollywood in 2005 remake The Amityville Horror.
